3rd-party audit of monitoring report to verify beneficial impacts & issue carbon credits.
International Carbon Standards
Voluntary carbon market (VCM) projects need to be certified to internationally recognised carbon standards. This gives carbon offset buyers confidence that the carbon credits are real, additional, not double counted and have been measured, reported and verified to world’s best practice.
Each VCM standard has eligibility criteria for the activities supported by their certification system.
